In this season, I am sharing some personal favourites with you. They are easily achievable using ready-made wrappers, the methods are easy to follow and with plenty of hands on practise you will be an expert in no time. I love that you can make and freeze a batch and they are instantly available as they can be cooked from frozen. 

Your experience

You will be welcomed with a freshly shaken mocktail of

Jade Bamboo

Freshly brewed jasmine green tea with organic honey, shaken with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice

You will learn:

- Knife sharpening and cutting skills

- Vegetable carving for garnish

- Presentation and plating skills

Recipes on this course may include:

Drunken Beef Dumplings in Sichuan Chilli Sauce

Boiled dumplings of drunken beef and soft leeks tossed in a numbing Sichuan peppercorn chilli sauce. Trust me, it is mind blowing! 

Baked Char Siew Puffs

Little parcels of barbequed honey pork, peas and spring onions with a splash of shallot oil, brushed with egg yolks, lavishly sprinkled with nutty sesame seeds and baked to golden perfection

Chinese Crisp Fried Spring Rolls

Always eaten during Chinese New Year for the symbolic meaning of wealth as the cylinder shape resembles gold bar, these parcels are filled with treasures of vegetables with the umami taste of oyster sauce

Prawn & Pork Dumplings in Superior Broth

Juicy little morsels so delicious packed full of minced pork, fresh prawns and crunchy water chestnuts, served with baby pak choi and a drizzle of nutty toasted sesame oil in a superior chicken broth

This is a practical interactive cookery session which will include dinner and a chance to bring home your masterpieces. All the ingredients, equipment and apron will be provided. Asian tea will be served throughout the day.
