In this class, we will chat ingredients and flavours uniquely Korean and make some popular dishes. You will leave with confidence, armed with tips and an understanding to balance these flavours and the art of using a sushi mat.

You will be welcomed with a

Jade Citron

Freshly brewed citron tea with organic honey, shaken with a squeeze of fresh lime juice.

You will learn:

- Knife sharpening and cutting skills

- Presentation and plating skills

Korean Fried Chicken has taken the world by storm! Learn the secret to crispy chicken made finger licking good with a sticky glaze. This is fried chicken paradise!

Smashed Gochujang Cucumber 

Why the smash... and we will explore the uquine flaour and its many uses of this world famous fermented pepper paste.

Sushi - Maki and California Rolls

Master the art of cooking sushi rice and sushi vinegar. Use the sushi mat to create cooked maki rolls.

Sushi - Ornigiri and Nigiri

Handy and bite size; perfect as a healthy snack, lunch or a picnic. Shaping smoked salmon nigiri balls are very satisfying!


This is a practical interactive cookery session, remember to bring some takeaway containers to show off your masterpieces at home. Also, bring a glass jar to bring your kimchi home to ferment. 

All ingredients, equipment, a working apron and recipes will be provided. Asian tea will be served throughout the session.
