“Bi-bim” means mixing various ingredients, while the “bap” refers to rice. I LOVE the chewy texture of sweet potato noodles! These noodles are stir-fried with crunchy carrots, fragrant bell peppers, wilted spinach and earthy mushrooms, all jested up with sweetened soya sauce and lavishly topped with nutty toasted sesame seeds. Once a royal dish, it is now one of the most popular traditional celebration dishes and one of Korea's best-loved dishes. It is the perfect make ahead dish for any party as it taste great served warm at room temperature or cold from the fridge.
Korean Fried Chicken
Korean fried chicken has taken the world by storm. They are very light and crispy because they are fried twice; the skin is therefore crunchier and less greasy. After frying, the chicken pieces are hand painted with Korean chilli sweet garlic sauce to evenly coat the skin. This is fried chicken paradise and the perfect accompaniment with BEER!
